The stay was enjoyable, with friendly staff, and a fantastic location in the central old square.

We were 5 people and we stayed 5 days. It is a hotel located less than 50 meters from the old square, so the location is unbeatable. It's an old hotel, with pictures of yesteryear, wooden furniture, all carpeted but very well preserved (it doesn't smell of rancidity nor does it look like it, as I have noticed on other occasions). curtains were enough to cover the outside light but not like a blind :). we arrived we found that one of the receptionists was Spanish so he attended us perfectly and very kindly. We went with a person in a wheelchair and we had a room adapted and whole building was accessible. In spite of being central, we were not bothered by the noise outside at any time. We were on the second floor and WIFI was working perfectly. hotel offered us a pick-up service from the airport (paid separately) and we used it to return as well. About 50 euros for a mini-van for 5-7 people. breakfast buffet was good, little short of fruit but nothing critical.
I would say that the elevator we had to use (because of the wheelchair) to get to the breakfast room was very slow and at rush hour we had to wait 10 minutes to get up there. Nothing serious for any other person who can use the stairs or the other elevator.

The addition of an electric kettle and glassware in my standard king room was very thoughtful. the breakfast offered a wide variety of food to suit all tastes, including delicious cheeses.

best thing is the location. It's "on foot", in the very center of Prague. is very important for me, since you can make tours to different points of the city, return quickly to the hotel if you need a break, cold or have forgotten something. It is next to the Old Town Square, five minutes walk from the subway and Jewish Quarter, five minutes from the Powder Tower and ten minutes from St. Wenceslas Square. Five minutes from the Charles IV Bridge and Bethlehem Chapel. It is farther from the New City and Castle, it is well connected by subway and tram. square where the hotel is located is always full of tourists, I was able to sleep very well, because apart from having a very comfortable bed, I asked for a quiet non-smoking room, they gave me one overlooking an inner courtyard. hotel is modern, with good presence. room is very spacious, with carpet, quite clean, a bathroom with everything you need. It has a minibar with the exorbitant prices of all the hotels, it also offers you the possibility of making tea for free, there are always two bottles of water in the bedside table. breakfast is very good. buffet is very complete with a variety of dishes that change daily, Czech pastries every day. Breakfast is eaten in an old basement with a brick vault that gives a very pleasant atmosphere. curious detail is that every day they leave an information sheet on each table, with the time planned for the day, some act or cultural detail, a hobby for children. I had not seen that before in a hotel, I liked it. hotel has a restaurant attached, "Nuance". you arrive you get a voucher for a welcome drink, a discount ticket. I arrived hungry, I went right to use them. I asked for a goulash and.. exquisite, best goulash I tasted in my whole stay in Prague. Mind you, it's more expensive than most, not a blunder either.
Hard to find anything negative. The hotel offers change from euros to crowns, but has a commission. There is a fairly favourable exchange office twenty metres away, but if it's closed you might have to put up with it.

The way the hotel staff (Monica and Valentina) manage the initial problems Faced with a concern about the room they assigned us, they offered us another superior room at the same price (this is not done in almost any hotel). The breakfast was quite complete. The hotel staff was very helpful at all times - from the breakfast staff to the bellboy - among the latter, a special mention goes to Mario who, speaking Spanish, helped us a lot during our stay - mainly advising restaurants in the area, in addition to his own. Very good soundproofing for a downtown hotel. The taxi service is very good -it is worth taking advantage of it-. Internet. Possibility of printing boarding cards. Finally, it is worth mentioning the details that one finds in the hotel - you will discover them when you are there. We will repeat.
Nothing.

The hotel is located in a great area, just a short walk to central Prague. It's very near the Orloj clock and the main square with all the wonderful cafes and restaurants. The location is stunning, being so close to a medieval timepiece. The bed in the standard king room is exceptionally comfortable, and there are amenities like coffee/tea making equipment, a safe box, and a kettle. The breakfast is very good, with a huge variety of options available. The customer care is exceptional, and there is parking nearby. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Location
Very old and dirty bathroom. In the corners there were hairs, and heating radiator was covered in the dust. The shower sprinkle is old and does not work properly. The shower space is very small with the curtain sticking to your body all the time. I am petite person and it was torture to shower even for me. The sink is cheap and shelves arounf made very cheap. The carpet was not vaccumed for a long time either. If we were not that tired I would request another room. Very dissappointing for 4 stars hotel. In long, many times turning hallways, the lights are turned off. There are no movement sensors, so you have to search in the dark for the ligth switches. Was very suprised..

location of the hotel is unbeatable. In the centre of Prague's Old Town Square. In four days we were in Prague we didn't need to use any public transport. You can visit the entire historical centre of Prague on foot. Charles Bridge is five minutes away and getting to the Castle is a pleasant fifteen minute walk. breakfast at the hotel is magnificent and staff is very attentive and friendly. room we had was impeccable, it had a view of the Old Square and soundproofing was excellent, you couldn't hear anything of the bustle and great animation of all the people walking on the street. However, as the room does not have air conditioning, perhaps it is something to take into account in summer if you want to sleep with the window open. hotel does not have its own parking lot, there are arranged covered spaces at the Rudolfinum, is a five minute walk away. We will stay at the Hotel Rott again without hesitation on our next visit to Prague.
Everything was excellent.

Excellent location
Had 2 different rooms and both had thin curtains/blinds so room was very bright by 5am as sunrise is early. Therefore couldn't sleep beyond 5am. Breakfast selection not very exciting, not replenished often (especially fresh fruit) and served in the cellar.

Outstanding breakfast for the start of the day with very hot water from the machine to make a good cup of tea and a good coffee machine, for example. Superior queen room with fresh towels as well as champagne.
